i read once that a good way to ensure that you finish a character is to start with the less important areas and work “up” from there. the reasoning is, with characters, people tend to put the most care, and and time on the head to ensure that it captures the feel of the original concept, and once completed the rest of the character would get less attention and in some cases none at all. so i thought i would give this method a shot.

just did a few tweaks today, added her gloves. i’ll knock out the head in the next couple of days. then it will be time to rig her and the wings and build some scenery to place her on.
hey hey…looking very fine… gee, I hope they take your design and make a flying IT from it… would be fun to zoom around town with this rig…haha, I just got a mental picture of buzzing the neighborhood for the first time…

started the head today and also adjusted the leg proportions a bit.

ok, the pilot is pretty much done. i’ll do minor tweaking when i have time. my focus now is to incorporate the wings and pose her.
