OK so i donāt seem to ever finish a challenge, but I got a nifty idea for this one, and I want to post it before someone else thinks of something similar. Im gonna construct a flying machine out of body parts, ie bones for major structure, organs for engine, skin for streamliningā¦stuff like that. sketches will be up tonight. :buttrock:

Ooh - I canāt wait to see your sketchesā¦donāt forget the buttocks, you need something to extract the waste from the contraptionā¦hehe.
cool idea!![]()
This contraption sounds really creepy.
Cool!

Could even have an eye-ball navigation device!
ok so this isnt what i had in mind at all, but im gonna go with it-and right now it make look more creature like but im going to try to assemble the parts as some freak scientist would, to make this nasty thing, whatya think.
Will you make it Hellraiser-ish with hooks and barbed wire holding it together? Besides big ugly stiches of course:scream:
this will be my first ever attempt at a project in maya, so i dont really know how this will come out, but heres my rib cage. I decided i didnt want a whole one in there, and as for the wings and feet i think im going to make them all out of human body parts. as for the rider, it will be some demon psycho scientist. hehe.
quick little update with some minor changes(excuse the drawing i dont have a wacom tablet at work)
well heres a little more, again not what i had planned, i think im going to scrap the other organs and add a battery with will connect to the heart, and the way it works is, the maker guy has to change the blood(instead of the oil
) to blood with nutrients allowing the muscles to move.
i am intensely watching this oneā¦it is coming along great, even if your concept/ideas are in constant changeā¦all great things are invented this way, eh? i want more:bounce: !
nice stuff. I would have to agree with you that maya render isnt the best but you need to know how to use it to get the best results you can. if you goto highend3d and look at some of the artist there they might have links and tutorials about lighting setups. phixo usually does the best and most interesting lighting tutorials.
keep it going.
Rob

Hey!
When are we gonna see some updates on this oneā¦it was one of my favorites!!!
Come back, āAround the Furāā¦come back-----!
