I am not sure whether or not more detail is needed, please critique.

really excellent!!

Beautifull.
Although the left eyebrow (her right) looks a bit out of shape.

That’s nice. It reminds me of the potraits made during the renaissance. Good lightning and values. But in my opinion it’s in need of detail. Too smudged now  Try adding more detail to the eye area coz that’s the focal point of this painting. Try eyelashes and more intense reflections.

Nice work! It’s going to be great!

Thank you, that is what I have fixed as well, much appreciated!

Great picture! Lovely tones. It looks quite a lot like Anne Hathaway.

#7

Yes sir, that is correct, she was my reference image to this painting, Not that picture but one of a similar pose I wanted to paint myself and add my own vibe and feel

#8

looking good! perhaps it needs some more texture around the eye and on the lips.

Are you sure you posted the pics in the right chronological order? Looks like you applied an oil painting filter to a real picture

Then you painted it over and over. The hair on the right side of the very first picture shows the artefacts that are a result of the filter. Sorry, but … you know.

Did you use the Painter IX.5 underpaint tool on this?

I love luminous stuff like this, now I’m gonna have to look into that tool ^^…

very beautiful, I would personally define a few details like the exact curvature of smaller parts like eyelids and nostrils. Just because I guess.
