The coke can model looks good. You need to work on the lighting a lot more. Everything seems low contrast. Also, what is the focus of your picture? I’m having a hard time figuring out what the focal point is. Lastly, it looks like you’re using an HDR texture for the background. The perspective of the street in the back doesn’t match that of the table. They should be in the same perspective, so I would recommend actually modeling the background, or at least put an image back there that matches the perspective of everything else.

Very thanks for your help.I agree with you.Because somebody In an Iranian forum said that the brightness is very low.So I’ll work on the lighting more.also I think the hdr texture is not match that of the table. Can give me an suitable HDR texture which matches that of the table?
very thanks

I’ve got two new renders.I think it’s better.

You need more saturation also… Coca cola will ask you for it lol You need the Coca cola red or you choose an other mark. ahah

I think you should choose an other HDR, like a Studio basded lighting. Your composition doesn’t tell a story really why a Picture framed would be in an rainy day exterior next to a coke?

Why the picture frame? If you want to put that at less, choose a sunny day for HDR.

Very thanks for your reply. But it’s not a rainy day.I’ve just wanted to make some droplets for coke can and glass.also I couldn’t find a suitable HDR image.can you find out another good HDRI for me?Very thanks.

You can use Openfootage.net for free HDRI

Also, the drops on the glass are not distributed in a believable way. Put more in a single area and leave some areas with less drops (top - more, bottom - less). And I think they are too big…

Maybe the scale of the glass versus the can need to be fix. Don’t know… do you have refs for your items?

This is definitely coming along! I like the change in camera angle in the second render (I think because the picture falls off the edge, so it looks a little more interesting?)

I think in general you need to work on the reflection/refraction values. The glass or possibly coke liquid (I think it might be the latter) is way too reflective so you’re seeing more of the scene than the coke. Take a look at this picture http://ant.sillydog.org/blog/2006/001514.php and you’ll see it almost looks like there’s no reflection. I can’t tell exactly what your settings are, but try giving the glass a fresnel/IOR reflection with a value around 1.6 for the IOR (that’s about what glass is) and then for the coke, you can maybe try the same but using the IOR of water (1.3).

Also, check out this picture: http://www.fragrantica.com/notes/Coca-Cola-362.html and you’ll notice that the liquid coke is actually… transparent  You can play around with giving it either some transparency or you can play around with translucency.

Hope that helps a little! Let me know if you have any questions and keep up the good work.
