I am getting kinda frustrated lately of my fine line inking pen, it bleeds too much and I always accidentally wipe my hand or my rule over my drawing and make my drawing all dirty. I have sweaty hands as well, so that makes worst sometimes. I was wondering is there any good bio-pen out there, that has really fine tip and be able to drawing light and dark. Thanks
A good fine line drawing pen?
The markers are made by Sakura. The product is the Pigma Micron.

When I was doing traditional art and having it published frequently, I had a complete set of Rapidographs of all point sizes. They can be an expensive pain in the ass and are high maintenance, but there’s nothing better, in my opinion. Before the technique I was using gave me carpal tunnel, I was starting to use watercolor inks in them and getting very cool results. And no, using them won’t give you carpal tunnel. I was doing a pointillism technique for photorealism and that’s what did it to me.
If you can find watercolor inks, they also have a few grey shades, so you can get many variations of darks and lights
Yeah, I’m going to have to agree with everyone here as well. The Micron pens are very nice, with a very fine tip.
I don’t own a Radiograph pen myself, however from what I’ve heard they’re worth it. I don’t do to much penwork myself (right now, at least), so the Micron works well for when I do need it.
Those fine-tipped sharpie pens aren’t that bad of a cheap alternative, to be honest. I find them rather nice actually.
microns 005 work good but its more about your handling. if you linger for too long on one spot, even a millisecond, the ink wil bleed no matter. just practice alot on keeping your hand steady and moving with the pressure applied where needed, one smooth continuous line.
