A few not-so-recent images

#1

Hi !

Well, i’ve had a rest from 3d production, been doing some personal things i needed or wanted to do, but anyway heres a few images i did before i packed up, thought they might be of interest.

First, these images were inspired by an amazing music production app.

[left]I cutout the logo with EIM’s boolean tools and used a combo of mforge and NX along with reactive shading features to achieve the look.

Next prj was really a feature suggestion for a vst software synth… i’m not sure if i should be showing this, the developer hasn’t said what he’s doing with it, but anyway, its an improved GUI, here is the original -

And here is the new one, modeled in EIM, used NX again for shading -

Developers response was “its fantastic!, the black metal surface is second to none”, another testament to the render quallity of EIAS, IMO

Hopfully i’ll get back to using EIAS very soon, i’m missing it

I should add, the larger synth GUI is the actual size, also it was created using some of the 2d elements of the original and edited together in PS, some of control labels were very hard to read on the original, that was improved too.

I have actually completed a full 3d model of the OPX with EIM, no renders yet though, oh and btw, the OPX is a software emulation of the famous Oberheim OBX
