that look great!! i love the bump/displacement on the wall as well as the textures, they look awesome.
one thing that kinda bugged me is the door. the door doesn’t seem as well worn as the wall.

Really nice work! Lighting and texturing are sublime! Cool that you’ve been inspirated by such atmosphere where you was some days! Also the geometry looks cool & clean! Nice done!
Hell ! Very rich picture !
Congrats, I love this, nice to see it on the front page.
Waugh.
It shows your knowledge with 3DS Max.
Could you apply some 2D skills and make it that it looks like old photo. You know sepia color, scraches and dirt?
I would really like to see it.
Thanks a lot guys, for your congrats & comments
yeah Critterslayer, you can do many things with particle systems…It’s a better alternative than the the scatter modifier for the vegetation imho, it’s more flexible.
Here’s an early stage WIP of the night version, for those who didn’t see it in the WIP forum :

Am I staring at a photograph? Beautiful work… Great lighting and texture… Like the rustic feel. Great effort!
Very well done, simply amazing picture.
Lorsque je l’ai vue , je croyais que c’était une photo !! C’est terrible ce réalisme.
Bonne continuation.
:applause: The old feeling is very well achieved. The contrasting colors, textures and lighting looks great
realy photographic…how you did the foliage?..that’s cool…the textures are just great…perfect I’ll say…and I’m a texture maker for games…I know what I’m talking about
Thanks for your nice comments, guys.
Techart -> About the foliage, i took a photo of an ivy leave and made some color variations with photoshop, and create some specular maps. And i have mixed all the different leaves with the max Particle flow, allowing me to create fastly some size and rotating variations.
Another great stuff about the particle flow is that you can use a node that prevent the leaves to not being fitted in each others (hope you understand me, my english is not perfect…).
