I been messn with the joints in 9.6 and atm im thinkn why is the joint and the extension of that joint seperate. i could see if they could have seperate properties but they cant. also you cant change the strengths unless you apply it to the root joint of the chain which is kind of retarded. still messn around i’ll update and post a rig once i figure stuff out more. i could be missing some things.

o yea to julez, it wasnt anything on using the joints but im workn on it.
also the old bone system does seem to be more stable but no stretchy stuff. :arteest:
The selection is a limitation of LW 9.6. So to have the advantages of Joints we have to deal with weird selection system.
The one thing i will say is this. If you plan on using 100% weights don’t use Joints. Other than that. I would build all rigs with Joints from this point on.
