I’m messing around right now with some low-poly stuff in my spare time after being utterly inspired by the artwork in Worlds of Warcraft, and ran into a bit of a snag when trying to use alpha transparency. For some reason, I can’t get Wings to display 8-bit alpha transparency. It instead gives me 1-bit (on/off) transparency, even though I’m using the recommended 32-bit Targas. Am I missing something in the settings? Even using the File->Render->OpenGL renders out 1-bit transparency.
edit: Oh yeah, I’ve also searched through this forum (as well as the ODF) as well as the manual (v1.61) in vain.
