I have been struggling for at least a week now with finding a program that can take my Sketchup scene and allow me to create specific lighting for it.
I created the environment my characters are in. It is a forest scene and the girl and wolf are walking on a sunken path. I have everything set up but now I need the lighting and am having many difficulties. I have tried Blender, DAZStudio, and other ones I have uninstalled. All I want is to have the moon as one light source and another being a lantern on the ground. I know it should be simpler than it has turned out to be. Sketchup can only take me so far and I am stuck.
I am trying so hard to figure this out because I’d like to use this technique for future projects. I would use Sketchup or any other easy 3D program to quickly render a scene/background with lighting. From there I will draw it myself or paint over it digitally. But of the many programs I’ve tried, I can’t seem to easily set up my scene for reference.
Can anyone help me? Am I making any sense??
