Nebezial:
Rendering wires is easy enough, once you know there’s a check box in the material editor which you can access by pressing <m>. up top in the standard material you can check the ‘Wire’ checkbox and you’re set to render. If you wnat the backside to pop through you can set 2-sided as well. If you’re models is still splines it could help to render a splines only shot. You can control the amount of poly’s they make in the patch object itself. something like render steps and viewport steps.

Looks good your model!!!

#106

thanx mate…finally…

#107

@ rebeccak …thanks Lady . Fixing real soon…(I am rigging a birdy right now…) :wip:.

Question ; from the front view does forehead need some upper volume ? :wip:

#108

DimitrisLiatsos,

Hey there, you’re welcome!

Didn’t get the chance yet to review the front view, but from that point of view, the forehead / upper part of the head definitely needs more WIDTH. It should be wider than the cheeks at that point and taper in a blunted spherical shape at the top. Remember that the eyes fall roughly in the middle of the face, so bear that in mind when you’re tweaking the model.

Hope this helps!

#109

Oh it DOES…i was afraid that it was wrong there …so …of course, thanks again:)

#110

Here’s my latest effort (higher res stuff to follow as soon as I’ve detailed it properly… ZBrush is starting to groan a bit).

#111

sasquatch,

Wow! Just found this…really amazing work! Did you use Zack Petroc’s Anatomy DVD by any chance? It would be interesting to know what project you did this for.

Cheers!

~Rebeccak

#112

Nope, didn’t use Petroc’s stuff (though I’ve seen it since). This was work following an anatomy course I attended at Escape Studios in London (The tutor was a guy called Scott Eaton, who is fantastic). Just an attempt to noodle away and absorb all the info that came out of the course. My brain hurts

#113

sasquatch,

Hmm, I’m curious, was the anatomy course specifically for those using ZBrush, or was it open to artists using any medium? Also, would you mind telling us a bit about your background / training? It’s always interesting to know.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

#114

Hi again Rebecca,

The course was designed around ZBrush, but was mostly anatomy theory and examples, with time allotted for practical work (course details here) PDF. Most of the class had some ZBrush experience, but those without were able to pick everything up pretty quick. My background is originally fine art (ba etc, painting and printmaking) and I have been working in the games industry for 5 years as a character artist.

#115

sasquatch,

Looks like an amazing course, thanks for that! Wish they had something like that for ZBrush around here!

Thanks for sharing, and please feel free to post more of your work here or elsewhere on the Anatomy Forum.

EDIT: Just saw that you have your Website up, some schweet stuff there!

Also, if you ever felt like doing any kind of Anatomy Tutorial, with ZBrush or otherwise, please feel free to do so ~ it would be greatly appreciated! Even something simple would be awesome. I usually ask people to just create their own thread for their Tutorial, and call it TUTORIAL - your topic - by your name. Hope you’ll consider it!

Cheers,

Here is my models:

#117

andreja,

WOW, Amazing work!!! :bounce:These are beautiful, for how long have you been doing human 3D modeling?

The only thing I can see off with these are the feet ~ the heels seem a bit bulbous (round / thick) and the toes seem a bit odd. Other than that, though, everything with these is fantastic!!! Great to see your work here, I hope you will post more!

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

andreja

Yeah these are great!
They look z-brushy,… are they?
Greetings Chris

#119

Rebecca, I’d appreciate it if you can give me a review on this model. Anything you see, let me know about! I would love a draw over of problem areas if you have time. Thanks alot.

#120

gardogg,

You’ve got a great start on these! I am going to be SUPER busy this weekend, but I will try to find time to do a critique.

Thanks for posting this!!

Do you ever use ZBrush?

Cheers,
