Very nice work, your attention to detail and understanding of anatomy is amazing.
3d copy of Rubens
thats insane… you are god haha… seriously thats like one of the best models i’ve ever seen. You have an excellent understanding of anatomy and are a zbrush god
your progress is great.![]()
thx for explaining what kind of piece you are going for.:wise:
Most of my points where actually for the general feel of the piece, i’ll elaborate;
what I feel in the original painting (the part I can see):
a guy who can walk a 1000 miles with no effort, and allways knows where he is going, he has a child on his back that he probably doesn’t even notice. The cloth represents the kind of airy waitlessnes of the kid to me. The kid is kind of laying back en just enjoying the ride as the guy goes allong, he also shows no effort in holding himself, his body weight holds him for the most part, he looks as if he just bounces allong.
what i see in your sculpture:
most of the obove, but i see also: a guy that needs some air, he looks asif he is just exhaled all the way, that way his mouth looks more like he is going for air. The kid looks as if he might drop of the side and “really” needs to grab his hair to stay on his back.
now for my more technical advice; the fingers of the kid look a bit sqauresch at the finger beginning, but you probably allready fixed that. The guy his hand that holds the stik has maybe to short fingers in some parts, especially index finger first and second jont looks to short for me. I dont have good comparrison materail because my fingers are like an alien.
these are all exagurated comments,
so don’t take them to literly.
and yes you can be confident about your skill. and I can already tell that you will show us a perfect representation of your personal feelings of this painting.:arteest:
really looking forward to the final piece.

Hi, to be honest with you doing one image that look so realistic like this is one of a big challenges and i like it so much while it still easier than the other parts which adds more challenge and makes it goes to the highest level of WOWness and Insaneness I mean doing animation with the same quality and reality.

Insane man.
To knitpick, only your glossy reflections seem a lil too strong - looks too polished. That might be what you’re after, I just think it takes reality away from the properties of real marble.
But this really is a 5 star job!
