Hi, to be honest with you doing one image that look so realistic like this is one of a big challenges and i like it so much while it still easier than the other parts which adds more challenge and makes it goes to the highest level of WOWness and Insaneness I mean doing animation with the same quality and reality.

good job man 5 * .

#72

Outstanding! You should print a prototype and have the statue in your house.

#73

Insane man.

To knitpick, only your glossy reflections seem a lil too strong - looks too polished. That might be what you’re after, I just think it takes reality away from the properties of real marble.

But this really is a 5 star job!

Regards
Giom

Hey Giom! Thanks, dude! You are right! I am using a different HDRI map for reflection now… Hope it gets better!

Back ground is part of a photo i downloaded… interior of some church, I guess. Luckily, the colors sort of match with the HDRI map I am using for the reflection pass!

Some detail shots:

#83

That render looks very nice!

#84

nice transposition from the 2d painting to a 3d sculpture. I like how you smoothed some of the detailing to make it look more like it was really carved from marble. excellent. Is this the finished render now or are you still doing work on it?

#85

hi Anand, those detail redners are ultimate
they are teasing me out of their beauty

#86

Amazing Anand…
