G2S, you could have saved yourself some trouble researching by simply visiting & reading this sticky near the top of the General Discussions forum. In fact I believe it was just above your post.:slight_smile:

And if you do a SEARCH in the various APPS forums you’ll find many of these apps discussed.

I already done this done that…
I saw it all… i searched the entire cgtalk…

btw, can milkshape do animation?

[oh, & i really don’t like that people tell you: this issue already been Discussed… because the truth is that ALL issues has been Discussed… so you can close cgtalk & thats it…]

edit: btw, the blender site is down… hmm…

well, http://www.polygods.com/ milkshape [that you said is free in the sticky ] is not free… it’s more like a 30 day trial…

Probably the easist way to find quite a bit would be to go to Sourceforge and just click on the 3D foundry. There are apps like Art of Illusion. Other stuff is harder to find about ike Moonlight Atelier. Darryl Strauss used to have a direcotry listing with a ton (either linux3d.org or 3dlinux.org) but last time I checked he redid the site and was basicly empty and not updated.
