 Comments:
This was very hard and also very rewarding on self-confidence. I learned to run a marathon and not a rush as I always have to do. The most important part was to learn when to stop detailing and skip to another model. I tried to keep the step of one model a day but I have to reschedule to dedicate more tome to some of the model. I didnt' spend time to do textured render since I preferred to focus on cleaning the model and do constistent geometry (and also to put as much quads as needed to ensure future comaptibility with displacements maps and bump maps if needed) this part was very important and time consuming when you have to do with boolean (like in the ipods, pads and so on): i hope this choice wont' penalize me ;)
I also would like to thank all the community and expecially Roberto as always for this opportunity.
  Cheers to all !

It was the 16th of September when I entered this challenge, with the basic idea in mind that I’ll go for 10 or maybe 20 models if I’m fast enough. I have no idea how it turned out to be 30, considering that I have made the last 6 items in 2 days only. So I guess that this challenge did make me a faster modeler, so thank you for that! I enjoyed it a lot! I used Maya for modeling, Mental Ray for rendering and Photoshop for everything else.

Description:
I chose to model the entire section of Art Materials. Once I finished I continued to model something from every category, minus a few. I wanted to include both organic and non-orgainic models. I was also able to complete more than 30 models. My models include insects, vehicles, buildings, props, and a steam boat. I enjoyed this challenge very much and it was great to see everyones progress.

Nice challenge, i enterer it to sharpen my modeling and workflow =)
I opted do the insects category, looked like a nice challenge (and it was :P)
did some art materials too to round it up to 20 objects, unfortunately i didn’t
manage the time to do 30 objects, but i’m happy with the result =)
a cool challenge to improve effectiveness and try fast workflows!

Description: I entered this challenge because I like modeling and I wanted to get some practice modeling non-organic objects. Most of the models are from the Classic Toys category, with a couple from the Multimedia and Kitchen categories. I wish I had more time to work on these, but overall I’m satisfied with what I got done.
