From the western hemisphere the Earth Protectorate and the eastern hemisphere the Global Defense. With a healthy competition they dominated the exploration of space and pioneered the first space frontier colonies.
But when an unusual frightening enemy arrived at our doorsteps the 2 conglomerates formed the first galactic task force, formally the E.P.G.D.
