1930s Railway station - WIP
MGitop, thanks
I am almost ready to render the final picture. I just rendered this clayrender. I am pretty happy with the composition.
I think I might move the woman a bit backward and the luggage cart to the forground just in front of the sign on the right.

Pretty bloody awesome if you ask me!
Now if the texturing and shading will match the quality of the modelling/composition we’re in for a real treat
But then again, browsing back through the thread I don’t think we need worry about that.
Cobra 6
Pls render it in some kind of Uber resolution, so I can use it as wallpaper for my triple monitor setup
Awesome. Look you want to tell the story that the kids go to the bubblegum machin, by look like the first boy aiming offscreen stuff…
I think you should add an old guy in that cabinet.
With such a detailed scene I wouldnt be able to be happy with only one image…I hope you plan rendering some different angles too.
cobra6, Thanks
Winside, Thanks
I am planning on rendering it in about 6000 * 3700 px
gamefan1980, thank you
DarkMizu, Thanks
ASaarnak, Thanks. I am planning on making a few more images once I am done with main image.
Scote, Good point. I’ll turn the boy a bit so he is aiming more at the bubble gum machine.
I liked your idea of having an old man in the shop

Would suggest a more friendly pose for him

He could be looking at the boy witha smile. That could tell a story that he invite the kid at his stand.
Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it
Scote. Good idea. i will change his pose to look a bit more friendly.
I have pretty much completed the scene and I am just about to render the final picture.
I will be rendering the main characters in a seperate scene (with the same light and camera setup) and then add them in post.
Here is a final test I made of the boys. I think i will turn the small boy slightly to the left and make few minor adjustments. Otherwise I am happy with the look

And a final test of the woman:

I love the lighting in those last two shots. The expressions are also very lovely and cute
Hi,
I love where this is going.
I do want to ask you something, don’t you think that the light is to hard on the left boy? or the SSS material is to translucent? I feel that, especially the boy, is made from wax.
Best :wavey:
After a very, very long break I finally finished the image. Thanks for all the help
You can see the final image here:
Aaaaw man what happened to the nice rounded/arched ceiling?
Love what you did in the final image though making the composition a bit narrower and more vertical but the roof was much better in the old version I think
