16bit Linear -> 8bit sRGB

As my knowledge of color management is limited I wanted to see if anybody had a process for converting linear 16 bit PSD’s to 8 bit sRGB.

These are exported from Mari but the way Mari exports out as sRGB distorts the color a bit. Is there a process in Photoshop or better yet in Mari that will give me accurate 8 bit sRGB maps?

So you export linear from Mari, but you want to apply sRGB instead? I presume you are using Mari 3?. If this is the case and your channel is 16 bit linear and you want to export sRGB you can on export choose sRGB instead of linear. This will bake the srgb lut on export.
