0.98.16 problem

I just installed 0.98.16 on my machine: Win2k sp4.

I cannot run 0.98.16, all I get is the attached error dialog. I uninstalled all wings versions, went into my registry and deleted all references to wings and erlang. I then tried a reinstall of 0.98.16, still the same problem.

Anybody have any ideas? What else can I try?

That’s the topic for this specific bug you seem to have.
It seems like a strange one,so I’m sure Björn can use all the help he can get.

I’ve NO problems with the latest release,Win2kSP4,
so it doesn’t seem to be that…Well,anyways,I’m sure your bug report will be appreciated.

i had to do it twice. did you try a different mirror. i also installed to a different directory than my last version. so far it works on 98,xp, and 2000. i have not tried it on 95 although i doubt that would matter since im the only person alive who has it running on my system.

did you try re downloading the install file
it might be corupt

might check to see that the file is where it should be or that the file is the correct size of 25,600 bytes
