Comments from people who've received their pre-ordered books:
D'artiste Concept Art delivered - WOW!

"I just received my copy of Ballistics Concept Art focused book and I have to say... wow, what an awesome book!

I've only looked through it briefly but I can already tell that it's my favourite of the ballistic books out there that I've seen. So far I've seen Expose1-3 and the D'artiste Digital Painting book.

Veery cool and inspiring work in this book. A lot of work I haven't seen before and many of them by artists that are new to me.

And although most of this work is done in 2D i would strongly recommend this book to 3D people too(of course!). Concept Art is getting crazy, I'm definitely happy with my field of work : )" - Dan Blomberg, San Francisco, USA

"I just received mine, too (thanks to Rasseltassel's reminder I went outside to check for it). What a gorgeous book. By far one of the most inspirational books I've ever looked through. The tutorials are in depth and informative." - Robin Chyo, Concept artist, Saratoga, USA

"I recieved my d'artise concept art book and it has completely blown me away, this is exaclty what i have been waiting for!! This book has so much in it i had to pause and take a breather. Awesome awesome awesome!! fantastic book!!" - Aaron Smith, San Francisco, USA

I can't say enough how awesome this book is, the work, the explainations, etc, One of the best concepts book I've seen.

Mine arrived half an hour ago and I've been lost in its pages - absolutely brilliant, brilliant job folks. The depth and breadth of the work is awesome - the tutorials are an inspiration and the Invite Galleries are just incredible. Kudos to everyone involved!

This is my favorite Ballistic book yet, and I'm not even in this one! You guys did a fantastic job assembling these artists for this edition. I like how different each artists' approach is to their work and how they came to be where they are. While some of the work falls into the "illustration" category more than the "concept" one, it's still fantastic. I particularly love the tutorial sections.

My only constructive criticism would be to add the tools used for each pic, like the galleries do here on CGT. "Maya & Photoshop" or whatever.

Thanks to Ballastic for putting this one out.

I recieved mine a few days ago and lets just say that i was completely blown away by the work displayed in the book this should be a mandatory buy for anyone serious about visual development/ preproduction.
