Rebusfarm now clocks 18.000 ghz

REBUSfarm expanded its machine pool by 252 Dual Xeon E5645 (6 x 2.40 GHz) with 24 GB of RAM. In addition there are 70 Dual Xeon E5420 (4 x 2.50 GHz) with 12 GB of RAM as a power reserve.

I do like Rebusfarm. Love the integration in max/C4d ( and others but not tested )

But does have a decent internet connection yet? Was a massive bottle neck 4 months ago the last time I used it and apparently was getting a decent upgrade.

Is that good in Germany for a Company? I have 100Mb Residential down and 10mb Up. Our studio is 1 Gigabit fibre dedicated line.

Dread to think what it was before. All I know it took longer to download multichannel EXR's than it did to render them.

Edit: Just want to point out, dispute this, the service is really quite good!

Ok.. I have a Lightwave scene, that I need to be rendered in 3dsMax.

Come on.

.. or,.. here is another scenario.

Hey,.. how you doing?.. I have a Maya scene with references that needs to be rendered out. Umm. I have shave and haircut,. and ,.. umm,.. Vray... oh.. and also,. I'm using proxy's.

wow...
Do you have any other useful info for us?

it was in development but I put on hold since a lot of other stuff need to be finished first
Blender is the next supported appl. and running internal testings yet
