Joints inverting Rotations in maya 2011??

i had a joint setup in xyz axis with z as middle axis when i orient constraint with another set of joints(xyz).if i rotate its moving in negative direction.i had changed the axis using rotate -r x y z values to flip the driven joints Local rotation axis to negative and positive z values but again getting the same problem!..
