I think the camera motion doesn't help your cause here. The first pan is fine, but that second motion matches her kick and so you don't read her motion much. No trecognition of anticipation in her movement there.

And in the beginnning the spear seems to float in the air, waiting to land in her hand.

I agree with dobermunk that the spear seems to float through the air, right into her hand. If she had some telekinetic powers it may need to be more pronounced. However, if it's really all skill, then that skill would become more evident if the spear "shot" toward her more rapidly, and she had to "snatch" it out of the air. This would also emphasize the force of her kick.

I also agree about the camera moves. It appears as though you're trying to mimic a "handheld". This means that the camera's movement should be reactionary. As it is now, it appears that the camera person already knows that the kick is coming, and is trying to compensate ahead of time to fit it in the frame.

Other than those 2 crits, it's very well done

Is this for a personal project?

On the double kick, I would like to see a little more anticipation before she transfers her energy to their faces. Right now she's kind of pole vaulting. The way it is now though looks good, so not sure if you really would want to change it.

Well, I think the main thing is the way that the actions just happen, as if the arm decides and moves. The attacking arm of one figure seems to move at the same time as the defending arm of the other, instead of the defending arm moving in response.

There is no anticipation or follow-through in the movements.

I'd recommend starting with something smaller and working out the motions. This peice is just huge! How long has it taken so far?
