MEL UI Buttons

Is there any way to get rid of the button-clicky-indent-thing? I just want an image that runs a command when you click on it (no response in UI)

symbolButton -- uses an image instead of a text label, don't know if it responds visually to a click though

Ih!

I believe "iconTextButton" is a command you are looking for...
Check Mel command reference for the flags...

Thats the one Ive been using. Its got a border, but it's slightly narrower than symbol button and I hafta bump the image size up a pixel or 2 before it displays the whole thing on the button.

I didnt see any flags to get rid of it (in the docs). Are there any?

Angry

I know this thread is dated, but whats the deal with images on buttons?

I'm simply trying to display a custom image on a button.
But it says cannot find file.

The dimension of the images vary
some are 39 by 50
some are 50 by 150.

Even when I bump up the size of my buttons to exactly the same size it still doesn't display the image.

I've tried symbolCheckBox, iconTextButton, symbolButton
None work.

Can anyone shed some light??
