learning python in nuke

Hey guys,

can anyone recommend a good starting point for learning python in nuke? I am not new to nuke but new to coding / scripting and would like to get a firm grip on it so I can add it to my compositing arsenal.

Thanks in advance

best place to start are the videos that the foundry put together on Python Essentials :
