Gloria ii to FX 500

is it fx 500 is better performance than gloria ii in alias studio tools?

I believe that your performance would be severely restricted if you try to use an FX 500 on the same machine that was originally shipped with a Gloria II. Otherwise FX 500 is "significantly better" on a relatively new machine - even though I haven't seen any benchmarks for studio tools (I don't have access to them anyway). But I would guess you can more or less judge by Maya.

I understand what dvornik is trying to say but the answer to your question is yes.

Also, if you are using studio tools then you care about the precision of the surfaces you are modeling and the FX 500 has a dramatically increased sub-pixel precision which has a large impact on realtime rendering quality and the reduction of rendering erros. Especially with finely tesselated complex surfaces.
