Here's the latest on my Spawn model.
<edited by Tito: Image replaced with one hosted on CGNetworks gallery to prevent dead links.>
You can check out the WIP here:
I'm posting it here now, cause this is all I'll be able to do on this model for a while. I do plan to create his cape, and an environment, and I'll keep working on it when I get a chance, but I'll be pretty busy until Christmas time, gotta book to finish, so I prolly won't get a chance to do more till then...

hi! I really love this character. The modelling looks quiiite elaborated, and texturing too...
but the shader of that "black" part looks a bit plastic, only this little detail for me.
I specially like "his" eyes, you have made a good smoke effect.
Luck with the environment!!!

Hot! And yeah, that eye gas is perfect.
Chains look a bit too tentacle like (stiff on a wide curve) but that also kind a works with the toy-like surfacing.
I repeat: hot!
(might I ask if this is a reaction to too many cute critter works?)

The poses look fantastic, and some people have mentioned the plastic look, IMO that really makes it, does look like a miniature toy in my eyes...
Totally spot on work
Just checked out the WIP thread, very enlightening...

Looks like you are a big fan of Todd McFarlane toys (McFarlaneToys).
I've been collecting the spawn comics from the beginning, love hes style.
The plactic looks right on, if you are going for the toy style.
Keep up the good work

Saw this earlier today in the WIPs. This is friggin fantastic. Two crits...the body texture - the organic black stuff, could use some more work. Second, You're losing a LOT of beautiful elaborate mesh detail with this dark texture. Show off your modelling skills!

It's damn good, I Like the modeling, shaders, texture work and the lighting very much. (maybe feet need little more details)
