I've got the wxPython blues

The script editor won't let me use wxpython. I'm using the version that's compatible with python 2.6 and the version of maya that I'm using is 2010.

The error that it gives me when i type in "import wx" is

Error: ImportError: No module named wx

any help would be much appreciated!

you need to add wxpython path into maya's path,like this:

import sys
if sys.path.__contains__(r'D:\Python25\Lib\site-packages\wx-2.8-msw-unicode'):
pass
else:
sys.path.append(r'D:\Python25\Lib\site-packages\wx-2.8-msw-unicode')

#import wx # it will work

btw, maya has itself information loop sys,wx script could be executed in maya but could not interact with maya.

Thanks for responding! I was beginning to think that I was on my own. I'll give that a shot.
