29.97 vs 30fps in nuke

For some reason I can't go 29.97 fps in nuke. My footage was shot at 29.97 fps. I have been doing lots of stuff with it at 30fps.

My question is, can I track the footage outputted to 30ps, animate CG to it at 30fps and the import the cg tracked renders back over top of the original footage in nuke at 30fps without having any problems?

Please let me know because I may potential have lots of reworking to do :(

FPS isn't really important in Nuke, since you're just dealing with frames. Going from 29.97 to 30 permanently won't really be an issue unless you have some uber-precise audio sync points in an edit you've already completed or something. And even then, as long as you work with image sequences and bring them back into your edit at 29.97, everything will be preserved.

Great thanks for the input. I feel much more relaxed now
