4Sight is looking for a programmer to coordinate, plan and (partly) execute our software development. We are a fast growing company that delivers high end VR software and content for clients who work in spatial development in Holland. We are continuously developing our own software based on Unity. Since the start 4 years ago we’ve been one of the leading innovative companies in this field and wish to be no 1 in innovative tooling for planning and communication of spatial developments.
Our team is quite self-supporting and consists of one part-time CEO, 2 salesmen, 1 supporting employee, 3 3D-modellers, 2 interns and a lot of supporting modelers in and outside the Netherlands. Together with our sister-companies 4Tune and 4Motion ( and we’re a team of 25 people of different backgrounds and age.

The developer is the central figure in the development of our software. He or she has the technical knowledge and is a very important figure in the development which we also like to outsource for the parts that are fitted to be outsourced. The task and responsibilities of the VR programmer consist mainly of:
  • Assist and consult in the drafting of the development plans from the programmers point of view and consult to execute the plan as smooth and cost-efficient as possible.
  • Develop and program our software (and bugsolving) according to our development plan, which is drafted and actualized according to client-needs and in cooperation with the entire team: 3D modelers, sales, projectmanager, consultants of 4M and 4T.
  • From a client and technical point of view coordinate and plan the long term development of our software in relation to the global technical developments
  • Coordinate the outsourced development and guard the compatibility and quality
  • Continuously help improving the compatibility between sales, production and software.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Must demonstrate either significant hobby or professional experience in game development.
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a team and within a schedule.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • An independent and pro-active work attitude
Previous employment in the games industry.
  • Having participated in a commercial game.
  • Experience working with Unity for different projects
Office at Ede, the Netherlands. Good conditions (to be discussed in person). Great team and company culture, serious company and ambitions.
