Nuke coding

Hi All,
I'm trying to code (c++) a 3d node for nuke which should be able to render out , in the scanline render some coloured points.

I've already archived to have them in the 3d viewport using the AxisOp , but i can't find any example or docs on how to render them out.

I've already wrote in the nuke-dev mailing list about it (which is down for maintenance right now), and someone told me that adding Point(s) to a geoInfo is the right way to go.

Is there anyone out there able to point me , or give me , any sort of examples on how to do that ? I've gone through the headers , the examples and the various docs without any success.

any sort of help would be really appreciated.

Cheers.
L.
