The Pavilion.

Here is my latest work.
I posted it in my gallery/portfolio, but I hope it is ok that I post it here as well.

The pavilion is a 3D model I made back in 2006. All the photos are shot recently.
Here is the finished images, and parts and photos I used.

The environment itself is quite nice; However, the scale of the mountain seems wrong compared to the house/field. I would also add some more haze over the mountain or lower the contrast/raise its black points.

Not sure about the structure though, it doesn't seem to fit's not about the blending, but the style - it's too elegant to have it in the middle of a field...

Thanks for your reply Suirebit. Much appreciated.

I am going to do a revision of matte painting later, and tweak the value for parts of the mountain.
I wanted it to be a part of the image, and give an impression of a pristine air quality.

As for the house being in complete solitude, we have seen stranger things - like two suns, spaceships and talking animals

It's not about the solitude, but about the style of the house - it has elegant decorations and clean shape. If it was a farm, then ok, no problem, but I can't imagine this nice looking structure in the middle of a boring field
