Game Character WIP Aurion Simmon
Hey everyone. This is my first try at making a game character for a school project, and before I began to work on adding details in Zbrush, I was wanting to get a few more critiques on how my model is looking, and any advice I can get in detailing particular areas, such as clothing and the accessories. You may also notice that the character resembles Nathan Drake in a way, and that is because he is the inspiration I used for creating Aurion.
Here is the front view of my character. I'm only going to detail one arm and one boot so that it lessens the amount of work I'll have to do.
Here is the back view. As you can see, I've already added in some of the detail for the pants and objects Aurion is wearing. But I am curious to know if there is anything more I should add/take out before going into Zbrush.
Here is the head by itself.
Here is the hand. I'm not sure if I should add in the fingernails now or later. I am also curious about the flow of it.
Here are the accessories that Aurion is wearing. I'm really concerned on how to detail these in Zbrush to make them look more realistic, and I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice on detailing these objects.
Here is a checkermap version of my character as well, to show that he is unwrapped. The clothes are in a separate map, the body parts are as well, and so are the accessories. Each map is 2k. Is that too many maps/too large of map size for a character?
