Helios Sketchbook

Drew this while I was stumped writing my book, was trying to envision a world that was covered in a sprawling ecumenopolis so dense that the glow of light was visible even during the day. Mostly it was to kill a bad case of writers block, but I think the quick sketch (took me no more than 30 minutes in photoshop [and i was being deliberately slow, picking out prefab brushes to help push it forward]) helped break it. Decided I might be able to make it more interesting in the future, and use this small rough out and expand upon it into a much grander painting.
