Thank you for taking an interest in Clockwork, we know the thought of starting a new job is never an easy decision - especially when it's as far away as Dubai!

We'll take care of you flight, accomodation, visas and your first months accomodation - not to mention a very competive salary. Fantastic environment, Clockwork is a very artist driven company - we care a great deal about what kind of work we do and how we do it. Just like you.

The position requires thorough knowledge of Maya with several years of experience working as an all rounder on photorealistic and stylistic shots in broadcast or commercial environments. Successful applicants will have a well developed ‘eye’, the ability to notice subtle differences in lighting and rendering, a good understanding of light, color, contrast, shading as well as a solid technical understanding in Maya and Mental Ray.

Must have minimum 3 years of experience using Maya and Mentalray
knowledge of a compositing package (Fusion, Nuke, Combustion, AE etc.)
Extensive knowledge of Photoshop
Must be able to work on all aspects of a shot including Texturing, Lighting, Shading, Compositing.
Must be able to manage render times while maintaining a high level of quality
Must be able to comp the layers and passes
Experience with Look & FX Development
Solid understanding of 3D concepts and workflows
Expert knowledge of lighting rig setup and shot specific lighting tools within Maya, with experience setting up advanced lighting.

Comfortable in a smaller studio setting and enjoys being multi-faceted.
Willing to share knowledge and experience with others
Ability to work without supervision and prioritize tasks
Ability to effectivly communicate with rest of the team at all levels
Attention to detail and thoroughness essential

Knowldege of Hair and Fur Techniques
Knowledge of VRray and Renderman/3delight
Computer Programming / Scripting experience
Skill in Painting, Photography, Drawing and sketching
