Bug: Merging animation deletes current take

Hey guys,

A couple weeks ago I noticed that when I merge an animation and append it to my character, it deletes the animation keys in the current take. As a work-around, I would create an empty take which I would set as current before doing File > Merge.

Now that I am attempting to batch the process, the fix no longer seems to work. They keys in my takes keep on getting deleted.

Any ideas?

Got it!
Wasn't a bug afterall!

import os
import re
from pyfbsdk import FBApplication, FBFbxOptions, FBElementAction
lApp = FBApplication()
options = FBFbxOptions(True)
options.SetAll( FBElementAction.kFBElementActionDiscard, True )
lApp.FileMerge( "anim.fbx", False, options )
del( os, re, FBApplication, FBFbxOptions, FBElementAction, lApp, options )
