HMC #26 Frazetta Tribute - Moon Men

I'm going to attempt the Moon Men. I'm going to try do the whole diorama or at least the characters.

I've started work on the hero dude, ATM he is semi-posed so I can still do some symmetrical sculpting.

Ok, I've posed him a bit more and sculpted some more. It is hard to get a matching pose and I still need to beef him up some more.

Here's where I'm at currently. I am working on the symetrical elements of the big creature. Still a long way to go.

I've decided to block the scene out in Maya. Then use the scene as reference to place the high resolution sculpt in Zbrush. Doing it all in Zbrush is too painfull.

very cool, I like how it is going

Very good blocking, and cool choice btw.

Thanks guys I'm glad you like it. I will try not disappoint.

I've almost matched the high res forms to the blocking. I'll Start adding some more of the features to the characters next.

Coming along nicely. I wonder if the big guys back should not be more rounded to flow better into his neck.

His left shoulder seems to come out more in your sculpt than in the painting.

Thanks for the feed back yoff. I have made adjustments with both of the suggestions you made.
This is the current state of it.
