Sardinha Daily Sketchbook

About 2.5 months ago, I was slapped with an art gauntlet across my snout. The perpetrator of this outrageousness was one , Nicholas Jainschigg. He's a true and good friend but he tends to slip burrs under your saddle when you are not looking. So, I have risen to the occasion and begun the Daily Sketch Experiment . Pictures begin below. If you are inclined to read more regarding the concept of it all then click here. Otherwise, enjoy one person's synaptic mis-firings.

DS00001: Listen closely, my child, and I shall tell you a great and tragic story of your race……and so it begins.

Thanks kindly. At this point, I have a backlog of two months in case of 'life's' intrusions. So there is more to come at least till the old brain pan goes dry anyway: )

Daily Sketch 00005-00008

Daily Sketches 00004 through 00008 for your viewing pleasure. When we last left that small fellow, he was a bit curious about a bag somebody was carrying..........More to come!

Through the ruins.

O no, not the cellar.

Maybe what was in that bag isn’t so interesting….

OK, this isn’t looking too good.

See y'all in four days when I will post the next four in this experiment. I do post these daily on my site and blog, if you are interested.

Wow... I love your style of sketching
Are those digital or traditional?
I assume those are watercolors right? - no words :O

Thanks for the kind words. These are waterproof ink through a fountain pen. Washes are watered down sumi ink. Whites and grays are either gouache or casein dependent on need. I generally use casein when I need hard whites.
