Driller Drone

This is one of my works for Miner Wars game - Driller Drone. Its purpose is simply to drill tunnels thorugh asteroids and such Comments/qritique is welcome as always.

cool design, i like the silhouette of the robot, interesting shapes. The drill bit is wicked cool too. How close will this guy be to the camera? What platform is this game going to be on?

PS the link to Minor Wars doesn't work.

Um should work - http://www.minerwars.com/ . Anyway - it would be a remote controled bot/drone. Camera - first person view.

You're losing a lot of detail because the textures are so dark. I think you can take your entire texture sheet and mess with the levels a bit. I understand you went with the dark/dirty look, but the tip of that drill should be nice and shinny from drilling. Maybe splatter some bright red blood on it.

Polycount might be a little high. I bet you can make those hoses lower without losing much roundness. Otherwise, cool model.

I think you might be right about the top of the drill, it is to dark at the moment - true. Not sure about the whole thing being to dark but i'm gonna mess with the levels and see how it looks. Thank a lot for suggestions. Ithink ill have some time before the release to pimp the whole thing a bit, like i said i had only two days for it and it could use some more details here and there.
