For Sale: Messiah:Animate 3.0

Don't use it anymore.

Asking $350.00. I'll pay shipping.

Interested parties respond only, please. Thanks!

Mmmmm?

$350 + $249 upgrade to Animate 4 = $599

It costs $595 brand new and that's with free shipping.

Well, considering I paid over $1100 for it last year, the pricing you're mentioning indicates a devaluation of product.

  09 September 2003
I vaguely remember the word "devalued" being tossed around when Maya and LW reduced their pricing.

It's just that the climate has changed and 3d software companies are having to adapt which can't be a bad thing for us end users .

*sigh*

So are you or aren't you interested in buying it? Cause I'm not interested in getting into one of these types of threads.

  09 September 2003
Oh, and I'm an end user who can't seem to get 1/4 of what he originally paid for the software.

If you're not sympathetic to my feeling like I'M getting it in the end, then I can understand why you want to engage in a game of semantics.

Hey, it's software not the stock market.

Sorry couldn't resist. I have the same issue going on with World Builder. So I understand how you are feeling. Some one will buy it sooner or later. Give it some time. Once studio is final there will be many more impressive pieces of animation being done with messiah. Greater visibility means greater demand of product.

So why aren't you using it anymore?

Any interrest in trading Animatek World Builder Pro for animate? Upgrade to the current World builder is about 350.

Motion Builder.

No, thanks. Never use Worldbuilder. Hear it's a great app for what it does, though.

Can't say I'm too sympathetic... welcome to the computer industry. I've got a workstation I spent $8000 building a few years ago, and you can now buy a "home pc" at Circuit City with more power for $800. I remember paying around $800 a piece for 256 MB RAM chips, and now they're like $50, so yeah, I know how you feel, but that's the way that industry is. It's driven by constant and rapid change so resale values plumit rapidly as well.
