Shave and Haircut Creates Disk Cache?

I started to notice a strange occurrence of disappearing drive space... After some investigating and prodding around i located the culprit...

Im using shave for maya 2010 and when i do a batch render have creates a file in my

computer/C/users/michaelporetti/AppData/Local/Temp folder. Each file is around 300 megabytes large and quickly murders my drive space when rendering out a lot of frames.

Why is it doing this? I am not using dynamics of any kind, is there a way to either clear these files without doing it manually in the folder? Or to even stop them from being created?

Its not a show stopper but it sure is annoying.
