Question Lighted hair turnes black in 3ds max 10 ???

I have made some white fur made of "Hair and Fur" Everything workes fine untill i put some light on it. Then it turnes black! What am I doing wrong here? The light I´m using i two Free Lights with Mantal Ray Shadow map. 8I render in Mental Ray...)

I'm not sure about what is your problem, maybe is that you are using Buffer hair meanwhile it only supports a few types of lights, i recommed you to use mr prim hair, if you want some advices on how to use hair in max check my blog, i have some useful tips about that, also a little studio about the render settings for hair in mental ray.
