maya 2009 shave 5 vertex collor

Does someone know how to bake texture from shave's shader to vertex and than be able to render it when converted to geometry?
i have some "create vertex shader" option which creates some shave nodes.. but in render my hair is always gray but in view port it still have color like in shader in shave...

how to connect this to make it work?
