Head in the Clouds - Senior Thesis

This is a link to the senior thesis I just made with my two friends/classmates Tim Cahn (tcahn) and Mike Capece. Watch and enjoy!

The story telling was very close to being good. If you had it more obvious which plane his dads was in then it would have been more powerful. Right now I don't know which plane to care about or am I reading too much into this?

Try and rework the plane scene to have the plane the dads in more obvious.

The story was captivating even though the animation was unnatural looking.

You have a knack for storytelling and cinematography.

The rendering was nice too maybe with a little more composting to soften things up.

The animations wasn't very good but most shorts don't have very good animation so I wasn't surprised.

The designs were nice. The characters eyes were a bit odd.

This a good start to movie making really, don't get discouraged. Maybe spend more time on the rendering, design and animation cause the story is has lots of potential and a good story is hard to find.

Keep going.

Hey thanks for checking it out.

The plane that gets shot down at the end is the dads, we were going to have shots of him in the cockpit but they got edited out due to time constraints and whatnot. We also couldn't spend much time on rendering settings due to time and hardware limitations.

Thanks for the CC!
