Controlin/editing restricted bmp colors ?

Hi guys!

I can't seem to find a way to view a bitmap's restricted color pallette in PS7. Is there a way ?

Also, when I edit some colors I'd like PS7 to show me if those are inside or outside the current choice of colors, or correct the 'out of pallette' colors for there's any way to do this too ?

Problem is, I'm working on some textures within a restricted pallette and I have to correct some colors, but it seems that PS7 saves the new colors in the pallette without asking.

Thanks a lot!

By restricted palette do you mean indexed colour BMPs?
To view an open indexed colour image's palette go Image>Mode>Colour Table. You should then beable to edit colours save or load a palette and get a preview.
