Working with two video cards

Which are the real benefits to install TWO videos cards for After Effects work (previews, GPU accelerated effects etc)? For example, two Nvidia GFX 285?
Which is more important: number of CUDAS or amount of GPU memory?

Thanks for the attention.

There's no benefit whatsoever.
