ocean from a distance

Hello people! Can anyone tell me how to create ocean from a distance without repeating waves look? I am useing maya ocean shader and HOT for maya . Searched the forum and only found tips for ocean with close up waves. Big thanks!

Thanks for the fast reply. I looked at the petershipkov tutorial
but still have the same problem, the ocean looks tiled.
New question!

Here is a clip of 300 movie vfx done by scanline studio. How to do that?

I am only interested in dinamic of the waves not for the foam, shader or else. Is it done with single maya ocean shader-texture or is it combination of the small and big waves done separately and then combined together in post? I am only guessing! Hope you understood me.

Never try but do it your self...Make relation between distance from Cam ,frequency & wavelength.
