Hey guys!
well i have a little vague idea of portraying old Pakistani film environment in my image entry!
This is just a simple idea right now!. lets see how it evolves
I am very excited for this and am hoping to learn a lot from this competition!

that's cool! I was thinking earlier, that a nice twist would be to see some pulp and b-movie kind of art from different regions of the world. It's so common to have this style for for American and even Euro-Centric pictures, but to see this kind of thing applied to the Arab world would be really interesting! I look forward to see what you come up with!

Concept / pre-visualization: Character references "Sultan Rahi"

Hey csmallfield
well thanks for feedback!
Yeah i too thought so. that it would be nice if i would contribute in any way to let the world see the unique texture and feel of pakistani art which is very different from other muslim countries out there.lets see if i can get up to something interesting.

well i have done a tiny research(google) on the great legendary actor of Pakistan film industry, "sultaan raahi"
The interesting thing about him is that in his films he used to do some impossible stunts and things. like even 500 bullets have hit him and hes still fighting.
So i'll try to achieve something like that in my image!, so to renew and remember that memories of him. though his dramatic kinda hair and nose do have a lot of potential i think. but lets see if i can use it to its full.
here are the references

Nice idea you have there. Will there be lions? Just joking. Good luck! Btw, your idea reminds me of the Bollywood movies from India. Kindda similar I guess.

As long as the poster is concerned, yes you can say that it do have a little Indian touch. but i don't think that sultan rahi's movies depicted any likeness to Indian cinema. He had a Punjabi thing to his style. well we(pakistanis) and indians have lived together for a long long time. so a little likeness is a must between two brothers!
