zbrush mesh is visible on some parts but not visible on others

sometimes when I model and import in zbrush some parts of the mesh don't show,
this happens from time to time,
It's supposed to be a hair mesh where I was going to sculpt normals on,
should I remodel the hair? if someone know about this I'd like a technical explanation to what's going on so I can watch out in when I model in the future
I already searched google for something related to this problem, but it's all hit and miss,

Some of the face normal may be pointing inwards instead of outwards.
Option 1: Check the direction of your normals and correct in your modelling software before you import.
Option 2: Tools / Display Properties, select 'Double' to show both sides of the face.
Option 3: Hide any faces which are ok, then Tool / Display Properties and select 'Flip' to flip the normal direction of the problem faces.
