Smile My Modeling Show Reel

Hi People

This is my Modelling Showreel that I have been working on for the past couple of months, all the base meshes were modelled in Maya then taken into Mudbox for the detailing. I used headus UVlayout for the UVs. Brock was a clay model I found on the Schell Studios website over a year ago and I decided to model it although I only had 2 reference images to work from, recently they updated their website and uploaded more reference photos (I wish I had them when I started it, although I prefer the way it has turned out over the actual clay model). The Abaddon model was supposed to have 3 parts to it, the beast that you see, a man that sits on the top and his staff although I didnt get around to modelling the last two I plan on doing them in the near future. The Concept art is by Parkilto who won 1st price in the Dominance War competition and I felt that the piece would look awesome also as a 3D Model. The penguin was suggested by a friend so I grabbed some reference off the internet and took some photos at the zoo and modelled it on a Macaroni Penguin although it is missing the feathers that stick out the top of the head, I also decided to leave the body plain because in production hair/feathers would be added to it later. Hope you like the showreel!
